Ok if you are a follower you know this is where I talk about what ever I want for one day. Take a Walk With Me in my life as a stylist & mother. So I want to decade this day to my grandfather Jim Biggs who past away last Wed. on the 5th of Sept. For some odd reason my grandparents now have past right around my birthday! My Birthday is Friday but it’s just weird. He fell down and broke his hip and arm and from Friday -Sunday he started to die. By Sunday he said his last words to me as I was hugging him…he said “bless you, I love you”. I will never forget it. By the time I got home from church he had fallen into a coma. The nurses told my parents the best thing would be to take him home to die. My parents opened their hearts and had him transferred to their home on Monday morning Labor Day. His breathing came more and more hard for him to handle and his lungs slowly were filling up. We spent every hour from Monday till him passing Wed. at 5am with him. I sang to him, we kept him comfortable. But By Wed. morning he had gone. Which in some ways just better mostly because he was in so much pain. So it’s better, and he can be with his wife and brother now. But I sure do miss him and I miss how positive he was. So happy and waved at everyone. While he was dying he was still waving in his bed up at the ceiling. So I know there were people waiting for him to take him to heaven. He did awesome amazing things and he was happy with nothing. As long as he could Fish, Hunt, and be with family. He loved the outdoors and he made us Moccasins out of leather my whole life. For each grandchild and greatgrandchildren. He loved everyone and so I wanted to share a bit about him today and honor what a lovely example he was to me and everyone who came into contact with him. Never once saw him angry! Now after loosing his wife over 48 years ago to breast cancer he is with her again! So that’s what makes me smile when I am sad. Have a awesome day and remember to call your loved ones and friends and tell them you love them.
Two doves were spotted in a tree way high above throughout the whole service and then when me and my dad and mom got into the car to leave the graveside they were gone…but sat there for two hours while we were at the grave side. Crazy take what you will but I thought it was cool. Then of course all the grandkids let go of a ballon for grandpa…and my dad and sister hanging out again was nice to see for me.
So like I said my grandpa HUGE OUTDOORS MAN so he made us from leather Moccasins our whole lives….so in honor of him today….we all wore one of our many pairs we have and own handmade by his hands! Love it.
