Pin Pal of the Week: Sara Deppe

It’s another fashion friday and I have another great pin pal this week, Sara Deppe, who continually posts amazing looks on the Pintribute w/ Jen Clyde Stylist board on Pinterest. This week I chose a great look, an embellished collar. This look is popping up everywhere, it started to come out a little this summer and I believe by fall it will be in full swing!!

The embellished collars can be found on a variety of shirts, from tanks to long sleeves, but there is also something interesting about this collar craze, many of stores are starting to carry collars alone for purchase!! Style Steal Thursday

Welcome to another Style Steal Thursday fashion friends!! Lately, I have been looking for pieces that I can purchase and wear right now, yet be able to carry the item into Fall. I found an amazing blouse at Asos.com just screaming “re-use & recycle” for the seasons! This berry and black chiffon blouse is a going to be a hot color this fall, yet you can wear it right now by pairing it with a bright floral skirt or even a pair of colored denim.

After you get some use out of it these last few months of summer, you can carry it right into fall by adding a dark skinny cuffed jean and a basic black pump. If you’d like to dress it up , this feminine blouse would go great with a leather skirt or leather pair of pants (black for more of a classic look or a tan/nude pair would be on the trendy side)! Goodmorning Fashionistas!! I have the perfect style steal to brighten up your Thursday and your fall wardrobe as well! Everyday I am inspired by something or someone … I’m constantly on the internet and I mean CONSTANTLY, whether it’s catching up with other bloggers or on Pinterest, and then there is always flippin’ through magazines, and don’t forget I truly get inspired by walking down the street sometimes!! I’m just always looking for inspiration and I always have fashion on my mind! Today’s style steal is something I’ve been seeing a little bit of everywhere, fall sweaters with different cuts & different patterns. I am loving this trend as it adds a little character to a basic outfit! I found this to-die-for sweater from Anthropologie & I just can’t stop staring at it & wishing it were in my closet right this minute!!

This vintage inspired sweater would look great with a plain tee and your everyday jeans! Or… pair it with a basic, solid color dress (short or maxi). You can wear this around the house, to the grocery store, throw it on for a night out, put it on after a great yoga session… it’s definitely a piece to add to your wardrobe for fall (and even the end of the summer!!) Style Steal Thursday

Today’s style steal has “lovely leopard” written all over it. Leopard print (and all animal print for that matter) trends come and go all the time. Right now, it’s in full force and it’s going to trend right into fall, so get with it!! The thing with leopard is you have to do it the right way… I repeat… If you’re going to do leopard, do it right!!! The right way is the subtle way & this means incorporating little pieces of leopard print in with your wardrobe. If leopard is done right you can wear it anytime, anywhere…. so you don’t have to just save it for the weekend! My favorite way to incorporate leopard is with accessories!!! This is also a great idea for those who are scared to try animal prints. A little goes a long way & instead of thinking you’re “outrageous”… You my friend will be oh, so chic! Wow… I am speechless over this amazing pin featuring a light peach shorts suit, white blouse, and fun orange day clutch! The shorts suit is a wow factor all in itself, a classy outfit that is “suited for the office”, yet chic enough for a night out with the girls or a dinner date! This one in particular is great because of the soft, summer color… IN LOVE.
