Last Min. New Years Eve Style Ideas

It’s last min. and your friend says you have to come to this awesome party. Or maybe it’s a work thing that you were not planning on attending but feel that you need too. So last min. shopping? Well here are some ideas that can set you up ready to go straight from your own closet. I don’t feel like you need to be over the top, little black dress if you don’t have too. There are simple touches that will scream New Years Eve style without being that girl that looks tired and over the top because she spent 7 days finding this dress back to back. Be simple, be stylish, be you. Bring in this New Year with the simple touches of style. Here are some of my thoughts:

Add sparkle: Go for some of those faves in the closet like a sparkle belt , sparkle scarf, and or a sparkle top. All of these can make a simple pair of jeans or black jeggings turn into a fun way to get noticed at your party without having to wear a tiny dress you will freeze in

Add metallic:

At anytime just to be safe add a silver or gold metallic and your good to go. Wear with some funky pattern pants, jeans, black jeggings, even a maxi skirt and your good to good. So simple so chic and so easy.

Safe Black and Gold Metal Mix:

It’s always safe to say you can never go wrong with some black and metal mix up. We all have this in our wardrobes so try something new and mix up your silvers and gold chains with some sparkle and go with black for the base. This will always be a hit.

Final touch: The red lip nothing left to be said….just wear it and own it and your style is topped off with perfection.

Weekend Wear

When it’s cold and all about holidays and not working I just want to cuddle up in my comfy warm outfits for the next two weeks during christmas and New Years Eve. So I wanted to show some cute outfits I like to call my “weekend wear” where it’s comfy yet stylish. A friend once asked me….”I am a mom and have to wake up and go to 3 different sports games on the weekend, what can I wear?” So I thought these ideas could be appropriate.

Always grab a fun bright scarf to brighten things up and add instant style to any sweatshirt or T shirt.

Go for leggings and some boots. If your wearing a sweatshirt go for the sweater boots and if your wearing something a bit more on the stylish side go for the flat knee boot. Gives a instant chic look.

Go for more layer look and baggy=comfy and cute(love wildfox for this loo)

Go for a fun hat. I love a cute hat so when we don’t do our hair it’s not the end of the world. And we still look super cute moms.

Well I was a little lazy with my hair….well yes I was late again…so the hair always comes last. But you get the idea. Anyways felt like I was in the christmas spirit so why not break out the lace skirt. Love this new skirt the color pops so well and I am a bit loving these intense colors.Being a Fashion Stylist is such a blast and I am lucky that I get to have a Fashion Blog with such amazing followers that I love so much. This is all about style and I hope you get inspired everyday. Living in Utah and being a fashion blogger I get to play around with fun Sunday Styles and I feel like it can carry me through a good work day too. So hope you enjoy. happy sunday!.
