Back To School Special….What I am loving…

Ok everyone this is my biggest show each year….Back to school fashions..and what should your kid be rocking this year? And is it a great price? These shorts are on sale right now at target for only 17.00 so cute and I love the belt. Click on Pic to buy…also have in uniform colors.

For Boys it’s all about the T shirt and hoodie. So I love stripes to just add a special element even when they don’t want to dress up they are looking cute! Also only 9.99 can’t go wrong!

Chalk Garden in City Creek. Utah had the best men/boys clothes ever!! They are just opening on Wed. the 1st of August and they offer some of the best brands around. Even the Vintage levis which I am obsessed with. As soon as this store is open and running don’t you worry I will be getting you all their info and where you can buy…for now check out Chalk Garden opening Wed. This week at City Creek, and keep up with them on their Facebook page for any upcoming events and deals. Excited about this one everyone!

Girl Talk:

So cute for those little ones in kindergarten and above…..just so comfy the fabrics are amazing and really your little one will stand out the first day of school…this dress is on Sale Right now! Each week it’s great to look at the things everyone has shared and so many pins grab my attention; this week it was the pants that Trista Granberry posted. This look was seen all over the runway this fall with the idea of mixing leather and other textures. Jean or velvet, black or red… leather was everywhere! I absolutely love this look!!! These to die for pants will be a “must have” this fall!!

Style Steal Thursday

Welcome to another Style Steal Thursday fashion friends!! Lately, I have been looking for pieces that I can purchase and wear right now, yet be able to carry the item into Fall. I found an amazing blouse at Asos.com just screaming “re-use & recycle” for the seasons! This berry and black chiffon blouse is a going to be a hot color this fall, yet you can wear it right now by pairing it with a bright floral skirt or even a pair of colored denim.

After you get some use out of it these last few months of summer, you can carry it right into fall by adding a dark skinny cuffed jean and a basic black pump. If you’d like to dress it up , this feminine blouse would go great with a leather skirt or leather pair of pants (black for more of a classic look or a tan/nude pair would be on the trendy side)! How To have Picnic Style…DIY Style and Tips

How To Get Picnic Style From Head To Blanket..

It’s the middle of summer and what’s not the best thing to do on a warm summer day or evening? Picnic time! It’s for everyone. Either you have kids or you don’t but no matter what you will be having a picnic. Everyone loves Them! Now how to get just the right tips on making yours a bit more special this year with the right style from your clothes to your blanket. Here are some of my fave items this year to bring on your next stylish adventure.

Just the right color: Picnics are either fun or romantic or a bit of both…but what ever one your on think about your environment…if your on a date go ahead and break out the romantic dress but make sure it’s in that outdoors color pallet. Don’t be afraid to wear colors or some fun floral pattern. Your outside..enjoy it..don’t come out in blacks and grays just makes you seem like maybe you wanted to go see a movie instead. So go bold with patterns and color at the park this summer.

Just the right length: Ok so everyone always wants to rock the little dress for the picnics because that is what we see in photos. Now if your going with the kids..please don’t rock the little skirts and dresses..mommy’s need to wrestle with the kids and we all don’t want to see anything but happy families not some mom’s butt hanging out! Then if you say …well I love only wearing dresses then do a maxi long dress that way you can have more coverage for fun run around times. If your on a date then it’s fine for the little dress but please remember you have one on and you are sitting on a blanket on the floor so cross those legs on UP!

Shoes: Always a sandal..flip flop you can throw off and feel the cool grass on your feet. No Heels you will just sink in the grass and look like a mess. Also a great cute flat is always sweet to wear and I love a oxford for the picnic adventures.

Blanket Style: There are so many blankets….please bring the style in your items too….don’t bring your kids blanket with crap on it or one that is just crappy and has stains on it..really let your style shine on your blanket because that is the main focus. It’s your staple at that park…let your personality shine through your blanket. Get creative. I found this amazing tutorial on making your own PIcnic blanket you have to learn..and there are some other cute ideas for blankets and making it real functional. DIY your own blanket or I love this one from Ikea…

Make this from a paint canvas from Home Depot…..all you need is paint and blue painters tape and here you go. I love this idea. Try it!

Carry it like a purse….your cute blanket! I loved the idea above this photo but didn’t have time to order it before my TV show so I just made my straps out of old trim and buttons and made a strap! DIY your own too…so easy made it in 20 mins. ….

I picked up my cute stripe blanket from Ikea...love that place only 19 bucks and super large! Great for a fun picnic….

Dish ware fashion: If we all go to the park we know we are going to want to eat at our picnic…I mean that is the best part right? So why not really impress your friends and have some cute fashions for your dish ware. So check out these cute little fabric holders for all those forks and knives. I decided to make my own…check it out and get inspired for your next stylish Picnic adventure. Also side note…these make a great gift idea too…thinking of doing these for the neighbors for christmas….shhhhh

Made this way fast out of felt/fabric/buttons/trim and you have yourself the same utensils holder!! Enjoy…under 3.00 dollars to make and only took me 20 mins…tops.

Silverware From Target only 1.25 each…so cute comes in many different colors. So now go create and make your next picnic stand out with your own DIY Style!

Basket Style: Ok hands down you have to get this right..perfect tote to carry your stylish goods. I love this basket/bag/cooler from Igloo amazing cute and just perfect for picnics and much more..Get them from Costco and love them.

Now you are ready for your next stylish adventure and I hope this inspires you to get out and enjoy your summer! Be Bold, Be Bright, and Be ready and stylish.

Top Knot.

You can never go wrong with a top knot. Messy top knots are even better. Especially for summer. Going to the pool? Top knot. Going to work? Top knot. Going to the park? Top knot. Going on a bike ride? Top knot. There is no time that a top knot is inappropriate. It’s always classy. Always chic. Don’t know how to do a top knot? It’s soooo easy. You can check out this tutorial here. OR. If you have super yummy thick hair (i’m super jealous of you), all you need to do is pull up, wrap around, and bobby pin in place.
