Style Steal Thursday

WHO DOESN’T LOVE TO HIDE BEHIND GIANT SUNGLASSES IN THE SUMMER (or really anytime of year!)?? I know I do, and fashion lovers do I have surprise for you… Stella McCartney sunglasses for ONLY $99.97 at SUNGLASS HUT. This. Is. HUGE. Stella McCartney is an amazing designer and her sunglasses are normally hundreds of dollars, BUT with this STYLE STEAL you can save $100!!! This is just the splash of color you need when you’re sitting poolside with a magazine in hand!

Now, I feel like sunglasses are quite personal. DIY Sole Style

Ok so I saw these boots made by Mr.Kates blog and just fell in love!! I then researched it more and found many out there and really was inspired and had to post on these amazing DIY boots inspired by Luxury Jones of course. Amazing designer.

So Why not make a TV segment about it on air on my fashion show on ABC and CW30. So that I did. Here is all the info you need to start your own and get inspired through others versions.

Make it your own

Everyone is always loving designer clothing, shoes, and accessories but sometimes can’t afford the bill. So this is why I love being a part of fashion blogging world. We all have fell in love with these designer boots first made from Luxury Jones the amazing shoe designer and retailed starting at 399.00 and go up to 699.00. These boots are sold at stores like FreePeople.com and Solestruck.com and are always sold out. So the fashion world went crazy with them and starting doing some DIY inspired versions. I could not help but resist to style these up with my own version and thought everyone needed to learn how to do these boots because they are worth the hour of your life that it takes to make them. So have fun go get some old boots and start your creative process ladies.

1. Go get yourself some old vintage boots

2. Pick up glue sticks, glue gun, crafting glue, cheap belts, beads, buttons, trim of all kinds that you like.

3. Start creating….first cut the boot in the back down the middle and fold over, so the inside is showing

4. Place the belts first then glue them down. Once you have them in place then you can start with all the trim

5. Now go crazy use the glue and start getting creative with all your trims, beads, buttons, and chains either way these will rock with your personal style all over them.

Add Instant Style With A Cardigan

Ok it’s summer and that is no reason to pack up another one of my favorite wardrobe staple must haves. The Colorful cardigan for summer is a must have and something you can wear with everything. You get so many different looks and effects from a cardigan and combining them with other textures and vibrant colors. Nothing transforms a look quite like a colorful cardigan. So here are some fun ideas you can use while rocking your cardigan this summer at any age or any size.

Brighten things up…ok so everyone always asks me ..Jen I need help, I have no color in my wardrobe. Ok then people listen up then try to get a fun colorful cardigan to really spice things up in that bland closet. Start there it’s a easy simple way to bring some light to that dark closet. So here you go think I can add a cardigan to a t shirt a dress some jeans it doesn’t matter it’s fun fun with color time.

Dress it up…ok so we need to dress up a cute t shirt before we go out?? No problem throw on a cardigan and you instantly have style…it’s something i do all the time. I can be wearing boyfriends and a t shirt then I throw on a cardigan and I get instant fast results of style.

Pull it all together….It’s like the cherry on top. No matter what you are wearing by adding a cardigan you instantly look like you have a sense of style you didn’t know was in you 10 mins. before. Really just adds a stamp on your personal style no matter what. Add a belt and you now your really talking. Some fun color mixtures and you are now really styling up any dress or shorts for summer.

Sunday Style

Ok everyone….it’s been a long day…but here it is my lazy day Sunday style. Why do you say lazy I ask?? Well because this is the outfit where you late and you don’t have time to think..l.so what is your go too?? A long easy, comfy, and simple skirt and of course a yummy color for the season. Then to funky it up a bit a throw on a more loud stripe print blazer to make it feel a bit more dressed up and pulled together. When ever I don’t feel like dressing up or even thinking about it I always throw on a ton of accessories so it looks like I thought about it. There is a little tip for you to test out…just throw on a ton of accessories when in doubt and a blazer and everything will hold up…so here is my lazy not feeling it Sunday Style…enjoy your Sunday. Relax and feel stylish.

High Top Sneakers

High top sneakers are getting HUGE right now! I’m in love with them. They are even coming out with high top sneakers in wedges. Which sounds gross…but they are totally amazing. Seriously. High top converse are the best to start out with. I love converse on girls. But if you want a more daring look, go with some wedged high tops! Here are a few of my favorites. Nothing screams summer like a great maxi dress! I am obsessed with this amazing dress by TRAFFIC PEOPLE. There are so many great things about this dress that I love!

First of all the price is INSANE (in a good way!) Originally this maxi was $189.61 and now it is ONLY $78.28 at ASOS!! Seriously, under $100 for a dress you can where for ANYTHING this summer! Next thing I die for… there are so many summer trends in one! BRIGHT colors, FLORAL prints, and silky CHIFFON material… I’m literally dying here people!!!!

Now, I already said you can where it for ANYTHING and I seriously mean… for ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING this summer! You can rock this dress for a girl’s night out by pairing it with TONS OF BRACELETS, a FUN cocktail ring, and a great nude or tan, chunky sandal (but comfortable, we all know how long girl’s nights can last!) Walk With Me Wed. Willow Style

So how could you truly know me personally if you don’t know my dog Willow…. so all who knows me will probably be laughing so hard right now at this post…..but I promised one day I would set aside on my blog to get up close and personal with my day to day life….so why not do a post on my most favorite doggie in the whole world miss WILLLOOOWW….as my interns would call her. I want everyone to love her as much as I do..Even when they don’t like her I tell them all they MUST. She is like a little person ….a little side kick. My brothers think I am a “weird dog person” but I think people who love animals are fun! Dogs are there for you when you are stressed and when you are sad and they don’t care what you look like, what you wear, what you say, they just love you. In my crazy carrer as a fashion stylist, I love that I can come home and complain to her and she just listens and looks at me with the most cute face I have ever seen. They are like therapy. Best part is that Goodendoodles are so freaking cute and are the best people family dogs ever!!! Not to mention one of the most cute dogs on this planet. They will make you laugh all the time and just scream Stylish Dog…so here she is the love of my life and my partner in everything..she is my “person”! Except she is a dog but makes me laugh everyday. She goes everywhere with me and she is my little car dog. She would go everywhere with me if the stores would let her. So Check out my Stylish Side Kick Miss Willow….LIKE IT!! Goldendoodles ROCK.

Was there on Mother’s day by my bedside like always singing with my children on my special day…she was so cute….she wouldn’t leave my side. So lucky

She likes her pillow she has her own…and she dose not move from the side of my bed until I get up no matter what or who else is up. Mostly when I am sick she stays right there with me and never makes me feel bad. Only better. So amazing how smart dogs are. They can sense so much.

She loves to sneak up on my bed but I caught her with my baby girl one morning as I walked in…how could I not take a photo she thinks she is human…cracks me up

SO HAPPY WALK WITH ME DAY…HOPE YOU LIKED A LITTLE BIT OF MY A LOOK INTO MY MORE PERSONAL LIFE BEHIND THE SECENS WITH MY BUDDY WILLOW. PEOPLE CAN MAKE FUN OF ME ALL THEY WANT BUT SHE IS THE ONE WHO I HAVE SO MUCH FUN WITH. ME AND MY KIDS LOVE TO TAKE HER ON HIKES OR CAR RIDES. SHE IS WITH US EVERYWHERE SO TO KNOW ME YOU NEED TO KNOW MY DOG WILLOW. THE MOST STYLISH DOG EVER. I WANT TO BE IN A LOOK A LIKE CONTEST WITH HER WE WOULD TOTALLY WIN….HAAA NOW GO GET YOURSELF A GOLDENDOODLE THEY WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
